An art connoisseur and avid collector, the client’s extensive collection—ranging from African American art to Japanese rice paper paintings—inspired the foundation of the design. The concept began with the idea of an art gallery, rooted in a deep understanding of the client’s preferences developed through multiple consultations. Her appreciation for traditional aesthetics and warm color palettes informed the direction, while layered textures and geometric forms were introduced to unify the space and echo the diversity of her collection.
